Musalar (Müzler) / Muses
Hesiodos Thegonia'sında der ki Musalar Titanid Mynemosyne ile Zeus'un kızlarıdır. Mynesomyne (hafıza tanrıçası) ve Zeus birlikte dokuz gece geçirmişler ve ardından Musalar doğmuştur. Başlarında kehanet ve dahasının tanrısı olmanın yanı sıra şiir ve müzik, yani sanat tanrısı olan Apollo (Mousagetes_Musaların lideri) vardır. Musalar yaratıcılık konusunda ilham perileriydiler ve her birinin konusu ayrıydı.

According to Hesiod’s Theogony, the Muses are the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, goddess of memory. Zeus and Mnemosyne had a love affair that lasted nine nights and then nine Muses were born. Besides being the god of oracle and many other Apollo was the leader of the Muses (Mousagetes) as the god of art. Muses were the inspirers of creativity, each on different subject.
